Fitbit teams up with adidas

It was back in 2007 that the seeds were sown for a product called Fitbit. Now ten years later they have a wide range of cutting-edge products, all with the aim of motivating their users to reach health and fitness goals.

At Inca Creative, we love working with forward-thinking clients. Fitbit, as a hi-tech producer, understands that to stay in the market they need to keep innovating. To achieve this they are constantly refining their products, introducing new models and looking at ways to add more value and benefit to their customers, to encourage brand loyalty.

They have recently partnered with adidas to create a special edition device, to help customers train smarter and run faster. The Fitbit Ionic: adidas edition watch invites the user to ‘unlock your ambition’ and features a unique adidas coaching experience, signature brand and exclusive clock face.

In support of this Fitbit are sponsoring the adidas City Runs, a series of closed-road running events throughout the heart of London, with the first event kicking off on 17th June.

Incentivising the Fitbit audience
We’ve worked with Fitbit across many of their sporting events and our role in this round was to design the dedicated event website, to promote and interact with customers and participants.

The website www.fitbitrun.co.uk launches on the 21st May, where runners can sign up to take part in a Virtual Challenge to ‘earn’ money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and win prizes. They can buy a Fitbit Ionic: adidas edition iconic wristband. And they’ll also be invited to become part of the adidas community, receive feedback and see event videos and photos.
