The market holds various events across the year. Being a central City location weekends are quieter, so the focus is on promoting these events during the week when the area is bustling and alive. Events are designed to promote the market’s retailers and feature various themes: Pancake Day, St George’s Day, summer music festivals, an autumn fete and the Christmas lights big switch on.
Our task was to develop a communication campaign to promote these events regularly to local City workers and visiting tourists.
What we did
We designed a suite of themed marketing materials bi-monthly to create awareness and drive traffic to the events. This included posters situated around the local vicinity and leaflet handouts.
Inside the market, large format banners were displayed at the entrance and hung from the rafters, whilst digital banner campaigns ran across different City of London websites and associated social media channels.
